Trauma Therapy That Goes Deeper

You’re doing everything you’re supposed to—but inside, something still doesn’t feel right.

You’re thoughtful. You show up for others. You’ve done the work, maybe even been to therapy before. You’re functioning. You keep it together. But inside, you feel stuck. You lie awake at night replaying conversations. You second-guess yourself in relationships—wondering if you're too much, or not enough. You carry a quiet undercurrent of tension that never quite lets up.

Some part of you knows: This isn’t how it’s supposed to feel.

“Everything should be fine... so why do I feel like this?”

That question might haunt you. You’ve built a life. You’re surviving. Maybe even thriving in some ways.

But emotionally, it’s complicated:

  • You feel disconnected from yourself and others.

  • You shut down or people-please, without meaning to.

  • You overthink, overwork, or avoid stillness because it’s too uncomfortable.

  • You struggle to trust—even your own instincts.

  • You feel a constant pressure to hold it all together.

There may not be a clear “event” to point to. But your body knows what it’s been through. And that’s where our work begins.

Trauma lives in the body. So does healing.

Talk therapy can be helpful, but it doesn’t always reach the places that feel stuck—the chronic tension, the freeze response, the anxiety that feels wired into your system.

That’s why I use body-focused, somatic techniques to help you tune in, gently and safely, to the parts of yourself that have been ignored, pushed aside, or overwhelmed. This isn’t about rehashing the past. It’s about learning to feel safe in the present. Together, we’ll listen to what your body is holding—without judgment, and without rushing.

This work can help you:

  • Stop living in a constant state of alert or shutdown

  • Understand and respond to your emotional triggers with compassion

  • Trust your own needs, boundaries, and desires

  • Soften the self-criticism and shame you carry

  • Experience more peace, connection, and ease—in your body and in your life
